What your student actually does
From idea to a business they can show you.
Every step produces something real — research notes, a first product, a price, a pitch.
Idea & opportunity
Students find a problem worth solving and shape it into a business idea they actually care about.
Customer research
They talk to real people, test assumptions, and learn to listen before they build.
MVP build
A first version of the product or service — small, real, and testable.
Pricing & numbers
Costs, margins, and pricing decisions, taught as practical financial literacy.
Marketing
Messaging, brand, and the basics of reaching the customer they researched.
Pitch & launch prep
Students present their business and prepare for a real launch step.
Why homeschool families choose us
Built for how homeschool families actually learn.
Beyond worksheets
Homeschool students build a business instead of filling in a workbook about business.
Fits a homeschool schedule
The Core Program runs six months with weekly live instruction — structured, but designed to sit alongside your existing plan.
Ages 12–18
Coaching, projects, and expectations are age-appropriate across middle and high school years.
Character alongside skills
Leadership, integrity, service, and excellence are formed in how we teach, not bolted on.
Parents stay in the loop
You'll know what your student is working on and how they're progressing.
Two ways to learn
Choose live instruction through KYEA Academy, or self-guided building with Coach Kingsley.
Homeschool records
Planning credits for a homeschool transcript?
Real business-building work families can document for homeschool records.
Many homeschool families may choose to document KYEA Academy or Coach Kingsley Founder Track as a business, entrepreneurship, career readiness, leadership, or elective learning experience.
KYEA Academy offers a live, instructor-led structure with weekly sessions, assignments, guided feedback, Business Builder work, Launch Kit milestones, pitch preparation, and a completion record.
Coach Kingsley Founder Track offers a flexible, self-guided business-building experience where students move through structured lessons with Coach Kingsley, complete assignments, build their Business Builder, and make progress toward a Launch Kit at their own pace.
Credit decisions vary by state, umbrella school, charter program, homeschool evaluator, and family transcript standards. KYEA and Coach Kingsley do not issue accredited high school credit, but we are happy to provide a course description, scope and sequence, completion record, and suggested documentation families can use for their homeschool records.
We help families translate real project-based learning into clear homeschool documentation.
